In 2000, I was selected by Artists and Communities: America Creates for the Millennium – to be part of a nation wide project of the National Endowment for the Arts and Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation. I collaborated with Real Art Ways in Parkville, Connecticut and the Senior Center of Parkville. Together we developed a range of creative projects including a gallery installation, a multi-media quilt (and a real quilt) and we produced nine short video portraits, Parkville Portraits, that were screened before feature films in the Real Art Ways Cinema. The portraits were also projected on buildings throughout the community and the project was featured on NPR.
