Just Here, 1998 |
Just Here is a 25 minute video, the result of a summer employment program to train youth in video production, acting and personal narrative. This narrative is an inside portrait of the concerns and experiences of four youth who live in the John P. Taylor Housing Projects of Troy, New York. The four youth producers Wayka Bermudez, Jose Torres, Santa Lopez, and Monyette Clark have each created a five-minute segment about a personal story from the Taylor Projects. They address their relationship to the community, their families, and the particular pressures they have experienced as youth growing up in the projects. |
